The TRAN TRAN logo includes two elements that have not been chosen at random, on the contrary, they have a deep meaning for us that we would like to share with you.
FROM IDEA TO DESIGN
In those early days we were a whirlwind of ideas, exciting, but still without form. Among them was the logo. We needed an image capable of telling, at a glance, who we are and where we were headed. The possibilities were endless and we had two certainties as a starting point: the message we wanted to convey and our favorite symbols: the circle and the spiral.
As it usually happens when you work with great professionals, the process was easier than expected. Alejandro, our graphic designer, instantly captured the essence of Tran Tran and with only two attempts, he gave shape to the logo that represents us today.
WHY A SPIRAL?
The spiral has always been present in nature, in seashells, swirling water, plants… Our Celtic ancestors were already fascinated by it and attributed various meanings to it. These are the ones that inspire us:
- The process of creation and evolution.
- Constant movement and transformation.
- Spiritual growth, progress and learning.
- The journey, both outward (to know the world and others) and inward (where we can connect with the divine).
This symbolism fits perfectly with our passion, dance. It also allows us to express how we feel about the path we are on and our intention to challenge conventions, starting by creating new footwear that will revolutionize the world of flamenco. We look forward without losing sight of our roots, connecting tradition and innovation.
WHY A CIRCLE?
A form without beginning or end, a powerful symbol used since time immemorial for purposes as diverse as expressing, adorning or protecting ourselves. It is present in the dance of all cultures, from sacred dances to the folklore we still enjoy today. For us, it has many implications:
- Balance and perfection.
- Unity and connection.
- The center.
- The cyclical. Everything rolls, repeats and renews itself.
This symbol resonates with our philosophy, with our desire to bring the magic of dance to every moment of life. It also resonates with our principles, the desire to do things right, both in terms of the quality of our products and the way we create them. It reminds us of the power of unity at a time when only individuality is promoted, and symbolizes the community that all of us lovers of different dances and disciplines such as yoga form. And above all, it reflects the importance of staying centered, of not forgetting who we are.
Some see a flamenco hairstyle, others the flight of a flyer or the twirl of a dancer from above… And you, what do you see?
