Tran Tran at the Jaén Flamenco Festival 2025

Unfortunately we missed “Flamencos de Ronquío”, but we know that the audience enjoyed the show very much.

On Friday we were lucky enough to live a night, as the title of the show says, “Very Special”, enjoying the power of Fuensanta la Moneta, the art of Pedro Cordoba and the talent of the artists who accompanied her. Words like authenticity, temperament, presence come to mind. All that and more was seen in the Darymelia Theater and how could it be otherwise, they brought the audience to its feet.

What can you comment on the masterclasses you gave? Great artists not only teach: they transmit, infect, connect. This type of training is key to promote the learning of flamenco dance and promote local talent, and the expression of emotion and happiness of the attendees at the end said it all.

On Saturday we were able to enjoy another memorable moment at the Teatro Leonor with the jazz-flamenco show by Perico Sambeat Flamenco Big Band. The living example that 2+2 can be much more than 4. A musical fusion that demonstrates the continuous evolution of contemporary flamenco. The magic that emerged between all these musicians made us travel from one place to another, with velvety and elegant sounds that caressed the soul. A perfect dialogue between jazz and flamenco, with Antonio Tabanco dancing, in which both styles enhanced each other.

On Sunday the rain kept us in suspense until the last moment. Unfortunately the Flor de Cerezo flamenco fashion show could not take place, but the Flamenco Flashmob could. A beautiful example of how flamenco culture can transform any urban space into a stage full of life, and we can only say “ole” for the dancer, the singer, for the organizers and for all those who were there, filling the square with joy and making the sun come out.
